OU Medicine, Inc. today concluded a previously announced transaction with HCA Healthcare that will transfer ownership and management of OU Medical System hospital facilities from HCA to OU Medicine, Inc.

Barish H. Edil, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been appointed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He will hold the John A. Schilling Chair in Surgery. Before joining us he served as Professor of Surgery and chief of the Department of Surgery's Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Colorado at Denver School of Medicine.

Chad A. Glenn, M.D., a dual fellowship-trained skull base and neuro-oncology surgeon, joins the Comprehensive Brain Tumor Program at the Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is also an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the OU College of Medicine.
